First up is Miro, a free open source Internet TV and video player. It can also automatically download videos from RSS-based channels and features a built-in BitTorrent client.
What I like about Miro is the ability to create a playlist of FLV files. This is a feature I found missing from the Applian FLV player. But of course Miro does so much more than Applian's player.
- It plays many video files (mov, wmv, avi, xvid and more)
- Explore and subscribe to over 2500 free channels
- Search download and save videos from across YouTube, Veoh, Google, Revver, DailyMotion, Yahoo and BlipTV
